Steve Rhodes, Chairman
Steve began his career with the Chicago branch of Bank Leumi in 1979. He advanced through a number of financial marketing and lending positions including director of marketing. Steve continued with Leumi when he and his family moved to Israel in 1985. At Bank Leumi in Israel, Steve rose to the position of deputy manager of the Bank's International Division. In 1988, Steve joined SRD Medical as the company's CFO, later becoming vice president of sales and marketing. He left the company in 1993, forming Trendlines International with Todd Dollinger. After serving on the board of the Misgav Venture Accelerator for many years, Steve became the CEO in 2005, leading Misgav Venture Accelerator to the level that earned it the “Best Incubator” award in the Office of the Chief Scientist’s annual incubator awards event. Today, Steve shares the positions of Chairman and CEO of The Trendlines Group with Todd and additionally serves as chairman of the Mofet Innovation Accelerator. Steve earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Harvard University. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Illinois.
Yossi Ron, CEO
Yossi Ron brings more than 20 years of extensive managerial experience in industry, including establishing and managing the aviation electronic equipment production company AEROMAOZ, which became a global company under his leadership. Prior to his appointment at Mofet, Yossi served as a senior organizational consultant at TEOM, where his activities included crystallizing operation patterns for the Office of the Chief Scientist of Israel's Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor. Yossi holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management from Tel Aviv University.
Hillel Lerman, VP Business Development
Hillel Lerman began his career recruiting funding and locating strategic partners for new business technologies for the research laboratories at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Prior to joining Mofet, he established and ran the first factory in Israel for computerized sign engraving. He also managed the Sheletron, which produces unique systems for computer-controlled electronic billboards. In partnership with ScanVec Amiable, a company listed on Nasdaq, Lerman founded a start-up to develop and produce computerized data systems for office buildings.
Shemer Topper, VP New Ventures
Shemer Topper brings over 15 years of local and international business and product development experience to Mofet B'Yehuda. His expertise lies in establishing technological companies and start-ups. His responsibilities include all aspects of engaging due diligence with new entrepreneurs and new copartner companies. Topper previously held CEO positions and senior executive management positions in various high-powered firms. He is currently completing his MBA with a marketing specialization at the Heriot-Watt Business School. He received a BFA degree from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.
